Creating your first project
- From the dashboard, go to Sites and click Add site (or use the site switcher if you already have sites).
- Enter your site name and domain. This is used for reporting and to scope your snippet.
- After the site is created, open Overview or Install Snippet to copy the Trace snippet.
- Add the snippet to your website's
<head> and verify with a test event.
Project management
- Each site in Trace represents one property (e.g. one website or app).
- You can create multiple sites under one account for different domains or products.
- Use the sidebar to switch between sites and view events, journeys, and analytics per site.
