Install Trace on Shopify

Add the snippet to your theme’s head

In the Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
On your live theme, choose ⋯ → Edit code.
Under Layout, open theme.liquid.
Paste your Trace snippet from the dashboard just before the closing </head> tag.
Click Save.

Publish or preview your store, then use Verify installation on your Trace site Overview to confirm events are arriving.

If you switch themes later, repeat these steps on the new theme’s theme.liquid.
